This number has rung me eight times already in October. The calls came through at these times: on the 1st around 3:54pm, then the 4th at about 2:52pm. Next was the 9th close to 11:54am, followed by the 14th at roughly 3:07pm. They phoned again on the 17th at just after 5:30pm, then the 22nd at 10:38am. After that, I got calls on the 23rd around 1:15pm and again on the 25th near 1:19pm. It’s quite persistent!

Oh yeah, these lot are brilliant. They ring up saying you’ve been in some kind of accident over the past three years and that there’s cash owed to you. I play along and say I have, then they spend the rest of the chat trying to fish out my personal info. My tactic? I say my memory’s a bit iffy and ask them what exact details they’ve got on me. Spoiler - they’ve got nothing, but keeping them hanging up wastes their time, not someone else’s. I call that a win. It’s the best when they either hang up all annoyed or start cursing at you. Just the other day, I reckon I kept three different scammers on the line before they finally gave up. Well, they were the ones who made the call to begin with!
