This number keeps ringing me incessantly, but when I pick up, there's just silence on the other end. It's rather odd; I answer, and then the call drops!

I’ve no idea who these folks are; they rang but didn’t bother to leave a message. And for those claiming there's a digit missing, that's not the case. The area code 01744 belongs to St Helens, which happens to be my locality. It's quite common for some numbers to have just five digits following the area code, so that’s perfectly normal.

I've been receiving calls from this number nearly every day, often several times a day. It's frustrating because I can't seem to block it-apparently, it's an invalid number. I suspect it might be linked to the PRA group.

I received a call from this number earlier today, but as soon as I picked up, they hung up. What on earth is the purpose of that? Others have mentioned that it's an incomplete number-missing a digit, in fact-so it appears they're capable of filtering out the final digit. If they could filter out all the digits, we would have the option to block them entirely, which seems to be their intention to circumvent. Quite the puzzling strategy, don’t you reckon?

Received a call from this number, 201217. There was silence on the line, then just a click followed by a robotic tone. When I attempted to return the call, I was met with a "number not recognised" message. Feels a bit dodgy, to be honest, and I'm thoroughly unimpressed!

I've been inundated with calls from this particular number. Attempted to block it on my phone, but it claims the number is invalid, whatever that entails. How on earth can someone make calls from an 'invalid' number? My advice to anyone out there: steer clear of this number at all costs!
