No clue who it was, but the person was pretty rude, to be honest.

They keep ringing me over and over but when I pick up, no one says a word and the call just drops. It's really odd, I answer and suddenly it goes silent then disconnects.

Got a call from this number but no idea who it was, plus they didn’t leave any voicemail or anything.

And to those saying the number’s short, it’s actually right. 01744 covers St Helens (my town) and it’s normal around here for numbers to have just 5 digits following the area code.

I get calls from this number nearly everyday, sometimes even more than once. It's a pain coz I can't block it since the number shows up as invalid. Pretty sure it's those PRA group people.

Got called 12 times over the last couple of weeks.

Got a call from them earlier but they just dropped the line as soon as I picked up. What’s the deal with that? Like a few others mentioned, the number they use isn’t even complete, it’s missing a digit. They must have a way to figure out the final digit somehow. If they gave the full number every time, people would just block it, so it looks like they want to dodge that kind of blocking.

Got a call from 201217, but there was just some clicking noise and this flat, dull sound. When I tried ringing back, it said the number couldn’t be found. Definitely felt dodgy to me, so I’m not falling for whatever that was. Also, I’m pretty done with these weird calls.

This number keeps ringing me up loads of times. I tried to block it on my phone but it won’t let me, saying the number is invalid or something like that. Dunno how that works at all. How’s it even possible for a number to be invalid and still call? Honestly, I’d say just don’t pick up if this one comes through to you.
