I told him I didn’t see why that was any of his business and told him off before hanging up. Not long after, the same number rang back, this time a guy claiming to be the supervisor, wanting to know what I didn’t get about the first call. I said again it’s none of their business which bank I use. The guy insisted he had to confirm details to make sure the refund went to the right person. Kept telling him to send a letter instead. Then he said if I didn’t provide info, I wouldn’t get the refund. I said I didn’t want it anyway, and they just hung up. The caller had a strong foreign accent and was quite hard to understand.
