Got a call from a number claiming to be Halifax Bank in St Helens saying I had a withdrawal of £1,600 from my account, supposedly spent at Amazon. They asked me to call back urgently. I looked up the real Halifax number for around here and it definitely wasn’t this one… best to just brush it off.
