Got a call from some pushy person saying they were from an Accident Help Group, talking about a crash that happened back in February. They knew my name and that a third-party driver hit me, which was a bit unsettling. They kept asking if I was hurt and whether I’d got a lawyer on board. This number harasses me two to three times each day without fail. It's just another in a long series of dodgy companies pestering me to file a claim for supposed injuries from a car collision. The thing is, I’ve never even been in an accident-my car was merely bumped while it was parked! They're incredibly disrespectful, downright offensive, and their tactics are becoming more and more forceful. After seeking legal counsel, I’ve learned that the law gives them quite a bit of leeway, and there's little I can do to rein them in. The only real solution appears to be changing my phone number, but as someone who’s self-employed, I'm quite hesitant to go down that route.

Yet again it’s these insurance con artists ringing up out of the blue, no respect for folks just going about their day. It’s like the government couldn’t give a toss about us regular people, letting these weeds run riot due to no proper laws in place. The best we can do is block ’em and report. They really are pests. They actually said my name when they rang, but as soon as I asked them who they were, they just dropped the call. I’ve blocked the number since then.

So these lot rang me up pretending to be from some accident management company, total rubbish. I saw straight through it. Now they just ring and then cut me off. The weirdest bit? One time they asked for my wife by her name, then just dropped the call. How do they even know we’ve been in a crash? Someone’s clearly leaking our info, but who’s behind it?

I had quite an unsettling conversation with an individual who was inquiring about an accident I was supposedly involved in. When I mentioned that I had no clue what he was on about, his temper flared. I requested he confirm the vehicle registration if he was so certain. His reply? "F...... Weirdo." It’s infuriating! Scam alert! They’re quite deceptive, offering to assist you in securing a personal injury payout for non-existent passengers. It’s amusing to think the cheque is supposedly ready for collection, even after all this time since the minor parking incident. They just keep ringing, and when you request them to cease contact, they hand your details off to another dodgy associate or some bloke on another desk with a new number. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind if someone from that place had a nasty accident - just to make those calls stop!
