When I answered and said hello, they just ended the call straight away. I could hear loads of people chatting like it was some sort of call centre in the background.

Had a call come through at 2:45 in the morning. I didn’t pick it up, but it certainly startled the whole household awake. Since only a handful of family members have our landline number, I immediately feared it was something urgent. Quite unsettling to get a ring at such an awkward hour!
