Yet another instance of nuisance calls from St Helens! I received one today, and curiosity got the better of me, so I did a quick online search. To my surprise, it seems this scam has made quite the rounds across the nation. They probably employ local numbers to make it appear more legitimate and coax people into ringing back. As for me, this one's getting tossed straight in the rubbish!

We've recently received one of these through the letterbox, and although it had an official appearance, it turned out to be nothing more than a scam! I’m absolutely reporting this to trading standards.

Ashton is currently in the vicinity of St Helens. On the 24th of February, I had an inkling that this might be a scam, but I thought it wise to double-check online just to confirm my suspicions - it’s always prudent to be certain, isn’t it? Big thanks to everyone who contributes to this community! On the bright side, it’s pleasing to know that the document in question is being efficiently recycled along with other paper waste.

I recently received a letter that appeared quite official, but it turned out to be nothing more than a typical scam. I plan to report this to the trading standards authority.

We received a notification instructing us to head to Diamond Health Club on Station Road in Haydock with two pieces of identification to collect a so-called gift. It all feels rather dodgy, doesn't it?

Received one of those dodgy messages earlier today, 22nd January 2010. It smacks of a classic scam, I must say... Be cautious, everyone! I’m taking this straight to the trading standards office now!

Earlier today, on the 28th of January, we experienced a similar encounter. Our son, who resides just down the road, received a call from the same individual. It’s quite puzzling, as she has never been wed and has always lived alone. We truly suspect this is nothing but a complete scam. Straight into the rubbish these sorts of characters belong!

Earlier today, we received a call intended for Mr and Mrs. We thought it wise to investigate this number beforehand, and thankfully we did! We certainly wouldn’t have shared any personal details regardless. We'll proceed with the same approach and promptly block it!

I've frequented this website quite a bit over time, and it seems we stumbled upon something unexpected shortly after scanning through your remarks. I reckon this has since been deemed worthless.

I recently received an envelope addressed to Mr/Mrs with a rather dubious slip inside. It claimed, "Congratulations! Your postcode has been randomly chosen alongside others, and you’ve won a prize worth over £12,400!" The number 01744 470037 was provided for further contact. Quite frankly, who hands out such extravagant gifts for free? I shall certainly be notifying trading standards about this suspicious matter.

This site was quite useful on occasion, but after going through your feedback, we had a bit of a mishap, and now it's all gone to waste!

Earlier today, a rather curious envelope landed on our doormat here in Bryn, Ashton in Makerfield, addressed to 'Mrs per Ms'… We couldn’t help but chuckle at its absurdity, dismissing it as yet another dodgy scam, promptly shoving it aside on the desk. However, a surprising turn of events unfolded! My partner just rang them up out of sheer curiosity, and can you believe it? She has supposedly bagged a laptop worth £329.99 from Tesco in St. Helens! What a turn of fate!

I recently received a rather peculiar envelope addressed to Mr or Mrs. Inside, there was a slip proclaiming, "Congratulations! Your postcode has been randomly chosen alongside others in the area; you’ve won a gift valued at over £12,400!" It had a contact number, 01744 470037, but let’s be honest-who hands out such lavish presents for free? I shall be reporting this to the trading standards office.

I received a fantastic deal today! I’ll be in Cheltenham come April, so I reckon I might pay them a visit - seems like they thrive on being pestered endlessly! Before that, I’m considering reaching out to the council to discuss a share of the earnings from selling our information. Given all this chatter about Data Protection, I think the Finance team at my council could do with a little nudge. My woodburner will get fired up tonight; the rubbish bin is already overflowing!

I've experienced the same thing with the number 01744 470 037. Straight into the rubbish! I'm quite curious about what these individuals have actually done to those unsuspecting folks who’ve been taken in by this. What a pity!

I've had a right laugh over one of these! They sent a letter meant for 'Mrs/Ms'-and if you look at my name, it's blindingly obvious I'm a bloke, haha! I decided to send that straight off to my lawyer mate. What a joke!

I received a rather curious item today, the 27th of January, 2010. It bore a local number from St Helens, along with a handwritten note and an official-looking compliments slip, suggesting it was dispatched by Universal Consulting Ltd on behalf of National Surveys. I had completed a few surveys not long ago, so it piqued my interest for a moment. Nevertheless, I’ve already tossed it in the shredder!

I received a call earlier today, on the 12th of February, which was remarkably similar to the one for Mrs. ENV as mentioned by Mr. It’s quite baffling really; they must think we’re all a bit daft, especially with everything going on at the moment. Honestly, who even bothers in this day and age? Just a word of advice: steer clear of that number 01744 470037. Absolute rubbish!

I received a call earlier today, the 12th of February, from a number that appears to be the same as yours, Mrs/Mr. It's bewildering how these individuals assume that we're all a bit naff. I mean, who gives anything of value away these days, especially with the current state of affairs? Just block, block, block that number! 01744 470037 - don’t even think about calling it. Utter nonsense!
