Looks like the same group is behind both numbers, 01948890107 and another one. Scammers are definitely using these two to try their tricks.

Got a call from some computerised voice saying my router and IP had been hacked. They said to press 1 to talk to a tech, but as soon as I responded, they just ended the call.

Got a call from a number on BT Guardian but they never said who they were. Pretty sure it was either some sort of scam or a call centre. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Got a call from this automated woman named ‘Shirley’ who said they’d found problems with my IP address and router, claiming my internet from abroad would be cut off soon. She told me to ‘press 1’ to speak with a tech. I didn’t press anything, but I can see how others might fall for it.
