Got a call claiming to be from HMRC, but it was an automated message with an American accent warning me about some unpaid taxes - didn't say which ones though. I rang back on 01744 416176, and a bloke with an Indian accent picked up. I asked him what section of HMRC he worked for and why they didn't follow the usual HMRC phone system with hold music and menu choices, but then he just hung up on me.
