Got a call from 'UK Legal Assist' claiming that my latest car insurance renewal showed I’d been in an accident. They said the other party accepted fault and were prepared to cover my costs. Sounds alright, except I’ve never been in any accident, driving or riding, they used an old surname I haven’t had for 5 years, and I don’t even have a car!!! Total scam. Wish there was something that could be done to stop these scammers.

I received a telephone call supposedly from "Legal Assist," insisting that they could reimburse me for "uninsured losses" related to a car crash. This turned out to be a scam, as I've never been involved in an accident! They were rather vague about what information they required, only asking for my vehicle registration number and the date of the supposed incident-which I refused to provide. When I jokingly mentioned that I'd experienced three crashes (a complete fabrication, of course), they escalated the call to a “manager” followed by a so-called “legal team.” By the time I had listened to their nonsense for about 15 minutes, I was thoroughly fed up and decided to hang up.

Some bloke kept saying I’d been in a car crash sometime last year but couldn’t tell me any specifics. I told him that was dodgy and I’d be reporting the call. Proper scam stuff. AVOID THESE LOTS Don’t give them any info, just ask who they are without saying your name. When I did, the bloke said someone else had contacted me about compensation. I kept asking and he eventually said UK legal assist, but he was super dodgy with the details. Pushed him more and he mentioned a third party and then off the cuff said Admiral Car Insurance and some payout about an accident. Told him he’s got me wrong because I’ve never driven or been in any accident. Gotta feel sorry for people who spend their days bothering innocent folks like this.

Just got a call from a bloke with a thick Asian accent claiming he was ‘Nathan from Legal Assist’, saying my missus had been in some no fault accident and might be owed compensation. When I asked about the poor sod she supposedly hit in our Lamborghini, the line suddenly cut off! Definitely blocking that number, these lot are nothing but crooks.

I got a call from some daft bloke at Legal Assist. When he told me where he was ringing from, I asked if it was about the accident I was in. He didnt seem to listen proper and just carried on saying it was about my accident. Then I cheekily asked if it was the one where I was supposed to have died. He replied, "How’m I speaking to you then if you were dead?" I told him I was only as truthful as he was. We ended up hanging up with me throwing a few choice Anglo Saxon words his way.
