He was inquiring about a supposed car accident and mentioned that he just needed to clarify a couple of bits, after which I’d supposedly get a cheque. I thought it sounded a bit far-fetched and remarked that it seemed rather like a prank. Before I could further express my doubts, he abruptly ended the call!
