I've been inundated with calls, largely concerning jobs in the heavy industry sector, alongside some nonsense regarding imaginary road mishaps. It's infuriating, to say the least, and they come across as nothing more than shady scammers! I've taken to ignoring them altogether now.

Got a call, I picked up and he used my name straight away. Told me I was in a noisy field, asked if that was right, I said no. Then he wanted to know where I worked, I told him I'd rather not say. Suddenly he just said well, you’ll be getting calls daily then. I said good luck with that!!! Honestly, what a pathetic way to make money!!!

Dont fall for it. This aint a genuine St Helens number, some dodgy bloke’s snapped up a bunch of codes from Nexbridge Communications, which here all show up as St Helens but really they could be from anywhere. Its just to make you think they’re nearby.

Picked up the phone from what looked like a local St Helens number - no one answered and the call ended after a few seconds. Had loads of calls from this number a few months back, and now it seems they’re back at it again. Got two calls yesterday and one today - one even went to my mum’s phone, which is local too. Funny enough, just before this, I got a call from a claims outfit saying I could get compensation for working in a noisy place. I gave them a piece of my mind!

They called me using my full name and asked if I’m employed where it’s loud. Claimed they were from Blackburn but the number was from St Helens. I told them I’d never come across their company and hung up. Pretty sure it was a scam.

They kept ringing like 5 times between 2pm and 2.21pm today but I didn’t pick up since they called last month saying we could get compensation for working somewhere noisy. They asked for personal info to handle the claim. Seems like a dodgy firm just trying to make cash somehow, either scamming or lying.
