Got a phone call earlier today from someone claiming to be HMRC. They said my national insurance number has been blocked and that someone’s been using my info, something about Manchester Crown Court and needing a solicitor. Total scam! I rang the police and they told me if it was legit, I’d have received a letter, not a call. Just ignored it and blocked the number straight away.

About half an hour ago, I got a call from someone claiming to be from HMRC saying I had a court summons related to drug trafficking and money laundering. They mentioned a car I'd owned before, giving the registration details and model, which caught my attention. But once they started probing about my bank details, I asked to talk to a manager. The so-called manager had the exact same voice as the first person, which was a clear sign it was a scam. I ended the call telling them if I were really involved in such crimes, maybe the police should be notified!

About half an hour ago, I got a call from this number claiming to be from HMRC. They said I was being investigated for drug trafficking and money laundering, and there was supposedly a court summons. They mentioned it was linked to a car I used to own, naming the exact registration, make, and model, which caught my attention at first.
