Some bloke said he was calling from Virgin Media, told me my internet was running slow. Sounded pretty legit if you don’t know much about this stuff. Wanted me to visit a certain website which felt fishy straight away. I asked him to verify my account number or my address to check if he was genuine. That’s when he just cut the call. Turns out it was a dodgy scam all along.
