rang me a minute ago but when I said the business name they just dropped the call.

Someone said they were calling from plan.com for ee or something... total spammy scam call. I told them to stop calling, they just acted like they didn’t hear me. When I got rude and told them to **** off if they couldn’t get the message, they tried calling back. So I asked again what part of **** off they didn’t get and then they said “oh sry...” and hung up.

I've received a handful of calls from this particular number. I haven't picked up as it’s unfamiliar to me.

This is clearly social engineering at work. They ring up to check if you’re self employed or own a business. They claim to be from Three Mobile, asking if you’re satisfied with your current deal or if your data’s run out. If you ask them what your current plan is, they’ll say they can’t see that on their screen, which is obviously not true. Basically, they’re just gathering bits about you to create a profile for future use. Then you might get contacted again by someone else asking different questions. It’s definitely a SCAM!!

Had a couple of calls from this number, woman said she was from Three mobile but the way she spoke and acted felt a bit off. I’ve dealt with proper Three mobile reps before and this just didn’t seem legit. Feels like a scam so I ended the call. If they really are who they say, they can drop me an email or leave a voicemail.

Got a call from this number on my o2 phone around 15:20 on 26/9/23. The guy sounded quite young and claimed to be from o2, saying they were checking my account. He mentioned they had me down as self employed or running a business, which isn’t right. Told him I’m retired and he said sorry, would update the info and then hung up. I use a PAYG o2 plan and Shrewsbury’s nearby, but this isn’t the number for the local o2 shop. Seems a bit dodgy to me.

Answered a call on 25th Sept 2023 at 17.26. The woman said she was calling from EE to check my contract and see if they could give me a better offer. She asked if I was a sole trader or if I had a limited company. After I responded, she just said thanks and hung up.
