I got calls from this number like 4 times over the week so I finally decided to answer. The person said they were from O2 and claimed my contract needed renewing. I hung up and had a look at my O2 account straight away, which said my contract isn’t up for renewal for another year. Told myself to just block it asap.

A guy called me saying he was with O2 about my contract. I picked up since the number looked local, but then he told me he wasn’t calling from the Shrewsbury O2 office like I thought, but somewhere down south in England. I’m going to block the number anyway, even though I’m not totally sure if it’s a scam or not. Had a dodgy O2 scam try to catch me out before, so I’m staying cautious.
