Got a call from 01743340817, someone with a North American accent claiming there was a £600 charge on my debit card from abroad. They asked me to press 1 to confirm or 2 to deny. I pressed a button and then suddenly the call just cut off. Checked my bank and nothing suspicious showed up.

A robotic voice called me saying my debit card was used overseas and to press a number to proceed. Thing is, I dont have any debit card linked to that phone number. Debit cards dont get used like that anyway. I just hung up. These nasty scams just keep going, the virus aint stopped them at all.

Got a call earlier from a landline number, 01743340817 I think it was. I only managed to hear the tail end of a robotic voice, but it sounded like they were telling me to press 1 to deal with some supposed fraud on my credit card. Definitely one of those scam calls trying to trick you.
