Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, no voicemail or anything, and it seemed like it was from somewhere quite far away.

I got a call from 03002811577 today, left a message on my answerphone with some strange robotic bloke saying not to ignore the call because it was from HMRC. The voice said if I didn’t reply, they'd send a warrant and I’d be nicked straight away. Sounded proper dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone pretending to be a legit company, sounded all official and whatnot. They said they were checking up because apparently I’d been in a car crash that wasn’t my fault and wanted me to confirm it. Thing is, I haven’t had a car accident ever, and I haven’t even driven for about six years. Pretty sure it was just a phishing attempt.
