Reading through other people's experiences made me steer clear of any legal drama, so I just deleted the tracking like he suggested. He sent another email thanking me, even tho I never promised not to reinstall it. I suppose I should put it back now since my online sales have dropped quite a bit. Honestly, it's hard to imagine many companies not using tracking. Most of our cosmetic stuff sells to young folks and teens, who usually only buy after seeing our ads a few times, so tracking's pretty key for us.

So, apparently this bloke Ted James from Quebec Street in County Durham (also goes by Edward James, but honestly, what a plonker) has been slapped with a Civil Restraining Order by the courts. He's been told to stop making all those bogus claims. If you wanna check it for yourself, just Google "Ted James Civil Restraining Order" and you’ll see it right there.

DO NOT GIVE THIS GUY ANY MONEY! This number is registered to Ted James. The court is already moving forward with a civil restraint order against him on their own accord. His small claims case against me was completely contested and has since been dismissed. The court highlighted several points in their ruling, like: "The claim has no merit whatsoever," "The assertion that the claimant experienced distress is unjustified and illogical," and "The details of the claim are... overly long and confusing..." Seems like this pest might finally be stopped.

So this guy, Ted James, keeps sending weird letters about old data privacy rules that don't even apply anymore, just to hassle small businesses into coughing up money. Now he's started taking them to small claims court, trying to frighten them into handing over around £470 each time. It’s a nuisance, but hiring a lawyer to get him marked as a vexatious litigant would probably cost more than most small businesses can afford. Really hope someone finds a way to stop him soon.

Ted James from Quebec Street, County Durham (though the address seems dodgy) sends these bogus court orders demanding £470. He’s banking on folks just coughing up the cash rather than fighting it. The paperwork is ridiculous - loads of pointless legal jargon spanning over 25 pages. But honestly, there’s no real legal grounds behind it and any challenge would easily win.

A bloke named Ted James has been ringing me and sending loads of threatening letters, saying my personal info was compromised, but he’s shown absolutely no proof. Funny thing is, the address he gives for contact isn’t even where he actually lives. Doesn’t seem like someone who really cares about privacy to me.

This guy kept sending me loads of letters moaning about my website. I asked a data protection expert, who assured me everything was fine on my end. Then out of the blue, he started legal proceedings and the expert changed her mind. In the end, I had no choice but to pull down a few of my ads.

At first I thought it was just another scam call, but after checking with my lawyers, they found that my website was actually doing some dodgy social media tracking. Once I removed the tracking, the guy was quite kind and even told me about the charity he's involved with that helps protect people online.

This bloke said I stole his info and that he’s going to sue me. Total scam, don’t fall for it.

Got a message from someone saying they're Ted James from Quebec St in Co Durham. They're asking for £470 because of a data breach linked to a company's Facebook page. The whole thing was a lengthy four-page letter detailing several grievances, like illegal gathering of personal info.
