The caller informed me that there was an attempt to buy a phone worth £699 using my account. She stated that she had sent some emails to assist in thwarting this issue and ensuring I wasn't charged for it. However, after checking my account online, I found no unusual transactions whatsoever. It was quite clear that the woman, who had a distinct Asian accent, was calling from a very chaotic call centre. She even mentioned a name of someone who supposedly accessed my account. Upon further reflection, it's blatantly obvious this is a scam!
