Received a call at 10:57 this morning (13/06/16), but there was nothing but dead air on the line. After a moment, I heard some sort of whistling sound before they hung up on me. Quite odd, really.

Picked up the phone to what felt like a call centre. There was a cacophony of noise in the background, and the person on the line had an Indian accent. Unfortunately, the racket made it nearly impossible to catch what she was saying. I mentioned the interference on my end, and before I knew it, the line went dead-she hung up on me! I tried using 1471 to see if I could trace the number, but when I dialled back with my number hidden, it led me straight to a full answerphone message. Quite suspicious, especially since I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service and shouldn't be getting these unsolicited marketing calls in the first place. Something’s definitely off here!
