To top it off, they were peddling free entries into the EuroMillions lottery. They spoke so fast that I couldn't quite catch what they were saying, and before I knew it, the call was ended. It’s hard not to think they’re trying to keep you guessing and hoping you’ll ring them back for clarity. Quite peculiar, really!4 yearsGot a call from some 150 lottery, claiming i’d won a competition i never even entered. Then the caller switched the story, saying i must’ve logged onto some dodgy site i’ve never heard of. They were pushing this ‘free’ entry into the Euromillions as part of a syndicate. At first, they insisted it was no cost at all, but then they slipped in a monthly charge of £39.99 for playing. To top it off, they wanted all my bank details supposedly to pay out any winnings.
