Got a recorded call today from a lady with an American accent (called herself Pratt), claiming she was from BT. Said my internet had been hacked and to press 1 if I was with BT or 2 for other providers. The call was from a landline in Sedgefield. How come these muppets aren’t caught by the telco giants and blocked before they get to us? Feels like it’s just cash and greed driving this nonsense.
