So, when I dialled 01738828841, which apparently is from Perth, the phone would ring and when I picked up, all I could hear was silence with some faint background sounds. Then out of nowhere, a robotic female voice said 'goodbye!' and then the call just ended. Feels like some kind of automated system reacting to certain voices or genders, maybe? I’m guessing it’s sketchy, like a telemarketer or fraud attempt, especially since I’m signed up to the TPS and shouldn’t be getting calls like this.
