When I rang the number back, I got an automated message saying it was SEARCHLIFE. Then a woman with a noticeable foreign accent called herself from Lifeprotect. The connection was terrible, and she was talking about my life insurance policy that supposedly was about to expire. She told me it wasn't performing well and offered to help sort it out. Plus, she kept messing up my name, so there’s no doubt this is a scam.

This morning I received a call from 01738700634, and the person on the other end actually knew my name, but the connection was really poor and kept cutting out. When I called back, an automated voice said "SEARCHLIFE," but when I searched for that company at Companies House, nothing came up. I tried calling again, and while the recording still said "SEARCHLIFE," the guy who answered claimed he worked for "Life Protect" based in Manchester. After a quick look, I found out that company was officially dissolved back in 2017. Honestly, it all seems pretty shady to me.
