Called a staggering ten times on Thursday, 19th April, but not a peep from anyone. Then, as luck would have it, my phone went off at an ungodly hour, precisely 2:45 AM on Friday, and lo and behold, there was no one on the line.

Just got a call where the person barely said anything and then cut off - no clue what they wanted. This has happened a few times before. Since I live close to Perth, I thought maybe it was a genuine caller, but now I’m starting to doubt it. From now on, I’ll just ignore these calls. It’s about time BT sorted this out, especially considering how much they charge us.

I've gotten two calls from this number now and I just don't answer, I'm so over it. The prefix 01738 is from Perth, but the rest of the digits seem dodgy to me. I'm really curious where they manage to find these numbers from?

It was a woman speaking, but definitely not a native Brit. I didn’t say anything back, she just kept saying “hallo, hallo” (which I know is spelt hello, but that’s exactly how it sounded!) before she finally put the phone down.
