Out of curiosity, I called back using my mobile and got connected to a chap who identified himself as Mr Lattie, speaking with a distinct Scottish accent. Oddly enough, he outright denied making the call. I mentioned the possibility of his number being compromised for scam activities and advised him to take action to safeguard it. He didn’t seem to show much concern, which raised a red flag for me; could he be involved in the scam himself? I informed him I would act if I encountered similar situations again.
