We've been receiving these annoying silent calls that seem to be making their way through each of our office lines in order. Quite frustrating, I must say!

I received a call that was oddly quiet, yet I could faintly make out some breathing on the other end. Just as I was about to speak, the caller abruptly disconnected.

An Asian chap rang me today claiming to be from "Accident Helpline." I informed him that I was grieving a recent loss in the family and had no desire to engage in conversation. The clueless fellow stubbornly persisted with his sales pitch.

An Asian gentleman rang me up, claiming to be from an accident claims service. I informed him that I hadn’t been involved in any mishap, but suggested he might have one if he bothered to call me again. Quite amusingly, he ended the call abruptly. I can’t quite fathom why, though!

I've received calls from fraudsters inquiring if I'd like to get involved in some supposed national windows replacement initiative. Honestly, I've never heard of such a thing. It’s all a bit dodgy, if you ask me!

I've received multiple calls from this number, and each time it’s the same story. The callers, with their Indian accents, claim to be following up on a car accident that never happened. Definitely dodgy and not to be trusted!

Received a call earlier today from a woman whose accent was so thick I couldn't make head nor tail of what she was on about. It dawned on me it was just a scam, so I promptly hung up.

Took a call and found silence on the other end. When I tried ringing back, it informed me that the number is not recognised!

Received a call at half eleven on the 21st of June. I missed it and there was no voicemail left. If it was the Accident Helpline again, I've repeatedly requested—around twenty times, in fact—that they refrain from reaching out to my unlisted number, which is also registered with the Telephone Preference Service. I've lodged a complaint about this with Ofcom, or whichever organisation oversees these pesky calls.

I've had two calls from this number today. They purport to be from an Accident Assessment Service and mentioned receiving my contact details from the Motor Insurers' Bureau. When the first caller reached out, I made it clear that I'm ex-directory, registered with the telephone preference service, and requested them to take my number off their list. Clearly, that fell on deaf ears, as I found myself on the receiving end of another call later in the afternoon.
