7 yearsLooks like this number is from Perth, probably in Scotland! The bloke on the phone definitely didn’t sound like he was from Europe, Scotland, or even Australia for that matter. He said he was calling from BT and claimed my wifi wasn’t working. That was rubbish because I was using the internet fine at the time. I told him straight up it wasn’t true - and when he asked how I knew, I said BT wouldn’t just ring out of the blue like this. Then I ended the call and blocked the number. I’ve heard BT actually do sometimes ring from non-0800 numbers for marketing, which is a pain for their real employees who get a bad rep thanks to these kinds of calls.
