I got a call from a bloke named John, sounded like he had a heavy Indian accent, claiming he was from BT wanting to chat about my internet. Since I’m not even a BT customer, I just ended the call.

I got a call from 01738 562878 and the bloke said he was from BT wanting me to update my security settings. I told him I'd ring back when I had time. Then he started asking why I was avoiding the call. I told him I didn’t recognise who he was. Suddenly he shouted his name was Bill, so I just hung up.

Can’t even count how many dodgy calls I get on my home phone these days. I just don’t bother answering anymore. Pure time wasters.

A lady with an Indian accent called me, ringing about four times even though I kept hanging up. I usually don’t pick up if I don’t recognise the number, especially when it's clearly just a spam call.

At 7.51 on a Saturday morning, this number gave my landline a ring, which I wasn’t exactly happy about. I made it clear they should stop calling me. A few days before that, they also called pretending to be from BT and talking about broadband. I told them straight away I’m not a BT customer, so there’s no point in ringing me. Both times, the voice sounded foreign, so I was sure it was some kind of scam.

Somebody called saying they were from BT and told me my computer was hacked or something. They got really nasty when I didn’t go along with what they wanted. Proper scam if you ask me.

Got a call from some bloke claiming his name was Ralph, said he was calling from somewhere official or so he claimed. I could tell straight away it was a dodgy scam, probably some bloke from India or Pakistan trying to con me. Told him I knew exactly what he was up to, calling him out as a total con artist and a thief. Scammers like that need to be stopped.

Got a call from someone with a weird accent asking about BT broadband? It was a bit strange, sounded foreign and I wasn’t sure if it was legit or some scam. Anyone else got these types of calls recently? Pretty suspicious if you ask me.
