Just received a call then it suddenly cut off. After having a peek at other people's remarks, it sounds like this is a persistent nuisance. I've gone ahead and blocked the number.

It's high time we had some regulations in place to handle these types of companies. You think you’ve done the smart thing by blocking the number, and lo and behold, they pop up again on a new line! It’s beyond frustrating!

I received a call from this number, but they just rang once and then cut off. It’s clearly one of those automated systems that randomly calls people and connects to whoever picks up first. From what I've gathered from other messages, it seems to be another case of annoying cold sales calls.

Just received a call from 01738 479 833. It was a chap representing a company—unfortunately, I missed the name, but it seemed to be regarding utility bills. I made my apologies and ended the conversation rather quickly. He was quite courteous, to be fair. Still, I’ve decided to block this number, as it's definitely a cold call.

I called the number back and discovered it was a gas provider reaching out regarding a change in my tariff as of 22nd August 2019.
