keeps calling nonstop asking if i’ve been in a car crash or something

Got a call from a woman saying it was about a car accident my wife had last November, and asked why I hadn’t claimed £3,500. Total con! Feels like insurance firms are just passing your info onto these scammers. If you get a call like this, ask them stuff like: who’s my insurer? What’s the registration number of the car? They’ll dodge the questions and hide behind data protection rules. Just tell ’em to jog on and hang up!
