2 yearsHe said he was ringing from BT, first about my phone then switched to the broadband stuff. Usual sales pitch. Just blocked him straight away.BT3 yearsReceived yet another unsolicited call regarding my mobile phone account, claiming that I qualify for a shiny new special account. Initially, they didn’t disclose their identity, but after pressing, they revealed they were from OneCom. This marks the third time these chaps have contacted me in the last half a year. During the first conversation, I was open to their offer as it seemed rather enticing at first. However, when I was handed over to another representative for more information, they rather abruptly expected me to sign up on the spot and insisted on obtaining my bank details. I declined and requested that they send me the details in writing, which, surprise surprise, never materialised. They’ve made two further attempts since then. Fingers crossed this isn’t a genuine practice by OneCom and is merely a dubious attempt at a scam.OneCom5 yearsReceived an unsolicited call where they were fishing for details-seems quite fishy, could be an attempt from debt collectors or even a scam to steal personal info. Best to stay cautious!5 yearsI received an unsolicited call from someone claiming to represent BT, but I had my doubts about their legitimacy. They kept going on about how I could save money on my phone contract, despite the fact that we're still halfway through a six-year agreement. Even after I explained that, they persisted with queries that someone from BT should clearly have had the answers to. It all felt rather suspicious, to say the least!BTSubmit Your Own Report (01737 931231)
