Got a call from 01737930017 about my appliance insurance, said they could lower my payments. Thing is, I don’t even have that insurance. They kept insisting I did though. When I finally told them to just send me a refund cheque for the supposed overcharge, they just cut the call straight away!

Got a call from a young woman from India after a bit of silence (probably using one of those predictive diallers). She mentioned something about my insurance premiums going down. Told her I don’t even have any appliances insured and then just blocked the number.

Got a call about my protection on home appliances expiring. I ain't got any cover like that, so I reckon it's either a scam or some kind of phishing attempt. I've blocked the number now.

I answered the phone and after a brief silence, it was passed through to a call centre. Sounds like one of those auto-dialler setups. The woman who spoke had a gentle tone but an Indian accent, making it tricky to catch everything she was saying. I turned down the offer for the medical alert bracelet.

They rang me a couple of times, but both times I picked up, they just cut off straight away - I guess they were hoping to catch my elderly mum on the line. There's no way I'm lettin' her answer, so these lot won't get anywhere near her, that's for sure!

They called me two times but didn’t bother to leave a voicemail, and I was not at home either.

Got two calls from what seemed like a medical emergency alert, but it turned out to be a total scam. These folks are just scammers looking to steal from you. Stay alert and don’t fall for it.

It was the typical scam call, just someone trying to hawk stuff I didn't want.

Got calls a few times from a so-called medical firm trying to find someone who apparently doesn’t live at my address. Told them they had the wrong number, but while I had them on the line, I said I wasn’t interested and ended the call. Feels a bit dodgy, like a scam to me.
