Got a call from a woman who claimed my boiler cover had run out and asked for my bank details to sort a renewal. I quickly noticed the info she gave me wasn’t right at all. Definitely felt like a scam attempt. Keep an eye out, folks - they’re trying to trick you.

I've received a call from someone trying to sell me a boiler insurance extension that I’ve never even signed up for in the first place. Quite baffling, to say the least!

Got a call about renewing some boiler insurance, but I don’t own a boiler or have any insurance for it. Pretty odd!

They’ve rung twice now about some boiler service plan or renewal. At least they’re polite about it, but it’s starting to get a bit irritating.

I received a call earlier today that was rather polite. An English gentleman identified himself as Ashley and inquired, "Good day, Mr. Wells; how are you this fine day?" I informed him that there was no one by that name at this number, to which he quickly apologised before disconnecting. There was nothing ominous or forceful in his manner at all. A quick search revealed the number linked to Solar Plan Ltd in Redhill. It could very well have just been an innocent mix-up.
