Totally a scam, but gotta admit its pretty sneaky. They say they're from esure but sounded really dodgy and all over the place on the phone. Then they said they’d ring me back using my own number plate since I couldn’t recall it myself. Shady as anything.

Looks like from what people are saying, it's Esure on the line. Not too sure myself though - the number rang me on 10 November but no voicemail left, and when I tried calling back, it just went dead. Now that same number from Redhill has just phoned my husband today, which is why we're checking it out. When he rang it again, it was some recorded message saying "there are no incidents to report". Frankly, whichever firm this belongs to, this phone situation is pretty shoddy and unprofessional!
