I’ve been getting loads of calls in the past few days and it’s obviously a con. I quickly spotted it was dodgy and didn’t follow any of their instructions. I usually just act clueless and keep it polite, trying to fish out details from the caller. On three occasions recently, when they got annoyed, they ended up swearing at me, telling me to basically stuff off. If this is genuinely someone from Talk Talk, then their customer service issues are a whole lot worse than whatever problem I’m having with my computer!

Had this woman from TalkTalk keep calling me, really persistent she was. She said someone’s been breaking into my account and using my internet - quite funny actually. She kept trying to get me to switch on my computer so she could "sort it out". After saying no loads of times, she finally gave up and ended the call.

Got a call from this number but no one said anything. A while back, a different number rang me claiming there was an issue with my router from TalkTalk, but actually everything was fine.

On the 26th of May 2017, around 9.30 in the morning, I got a call from a lady with a foreign accent, who said she was ringing from Talktalk about my internet. Thing is, I'm not with Talktalk anymore because I've been caught out by this scam in the past. Be careful - they try to get into your computer and then can mess with your bank details.

You could tell straight away it was a call centre, just from the noise in the background. I ended the call without giving them the chance to explain anything.
