Yesterday, this number rang my home phone but didn’t leave any voicemail. Since I don’t know anyone in Redhill, it wasn’t a call I was expecting or wanted. If I’m being generous, it might’ve been a misdial, but my gut tells me it’s part of those new scam tactics where they use random stolen numbers to avoid bad reviews on websites like this. Interestingly, unlike other cases, there wasn’t any history connected to the number. When I gave it a ring back, the message said “no service is running on this number.” Seems like my suspicion was spot on.
