I picked up the phone and it turned out they were conducting a survey about how my degree has impacted my life. They already had loads of details about my course, and apparently, everyone who'd done it got a call. A lecturer I spoke to said it was part of some research to help advertise the courses they offer. That said, when I first answered, the bloke on the other end was yelling, "Not now, mum, I’m on the phone!" If I hadn’t been waiting for this call, I’d have probably hung up straight away.
