Got a call early this morning from someone saying they were from BT. Since I had an engineer scheduled for a visit, I thought it was legit at first. But then they started giving directions that would let them access my PC, which I wasn’t comfortable with, so I just told them no and ended the call. Kinda uneasy about the timing, as the genuine engineer is meant to turn up soon. Could just be a coincidence, fingers crossed. They’ve rang again twice, quickly one after the other, each time using a different phone number.
