I've encountered some right dodgy characters lately, attempting to breach my system and then extort money for its release. There was this one lady who I kept on the line for a quarter of an hour, before I finally called her out as a scammer and sent her packing. She wasn't having any of it, retaliated with some choice words, and then slammed the phone down. Another occasion found me armed with a rather amusing battery-operated gadget that plays various insults. You wouldn't believe it-those chaps actually rang back to hear the sound bites! The number they called from was 01737215063. What a laugh!

I received a call from someone with a distinct Indian accent, and when I struggled to catch what they were saying, they snapped back at me to 'go to hell'. Quite rude, if you ask me!

I received a call from someone with a thick foreign accent claiming to represent BT, and they wanted to know about my broadband information to supposedly enhance my connection. When I questioned whether he was actually from BT Telecom, he got rather unpleasant, muttering that I thought I was clever when I clearly wasn’t! This happened not once, but twice in a short span. Seems like a scam to me - the caller claimed to be from BT.

I had the misfortune of receiving two phone calls from the same number. The first time, the caller claimed to be from BT, and the second time they insisted they were part of Openreach. Both calls revolved around a supposed issue with our internet connection, urging us to power up our laptop so they could "fix" it. Things took a turn when my partner mentioned my employment with BT; they quickly hung up without another word! I've since flagged the incident at my workplace. Just a word of caution to everyone out there-stay alert!
