Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent saying he was from BT, claiming they were installing fast fibre in my neighbourhood. He asked me for my internet speeds, both download and upload. When I gave him the info, he insisted I turn on some device and run a speed test, but wouldn’t say why. I asked him a few times what was going on, but then he just ended the call. Seems dodgy to me, so I’m going to block the number and get in touch with BT to check if it was legit or not.

Some bloke rang up pretending to be from Virgin, said there was an issue with my router. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it!
