I got a call from a woman with a Chinese accent claiming she was with some refunds department. She said I was due £202 because of an overpayment. She already knew my name, which made me suspicious. Then she wanted my postcode, but when I asked where she was calling from, she said Sky. She kept pressing for my postcode, but I told her I don’t share personal info. Next, she asked for my birthdate. Again, I refused and then she just hung up. When I tried to ring back, the number wasn’t in service. Watch out for this one.

got a call from a woman with an indian accent, she knew my full name, my address and even my postcode. she said i was due a £202 refund from bt because of some billing mistake. i decided to ring bt myself and they told me it was a scam and no such refund exists.
