Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent who first asked if I was the account holder. When I asked her what the call was about, she suddenly mentioned my name out of nowhere. I pressed her again for the reason, and she said it was some sort of health survey. I told her we couldn't take part since someone in the family already works in Market Research, so it sounded a bit off. Feels like they were just fishing for personal info.

They just wouldn’t hang up no matter how many times I said I wasn’t interested. Kept going on about some device meant to be mandatory from the NHS for older folks. Honestly, they came across as really rude and a bit daft. Ended up stuck on the phone for like 18 minutes, with quite a few awkward silent moments. Could be pretty scary for older people, I’d imagine. I had time to spare though, so figured I might as well keep them going instead of someone else getting hassled.
