At first, I had no clue who was calling from this Penzance number, but it turns out it’s TorFx. I’d contacted them about a month back to ask about their currency exchange service. What’s a bit odd is they've also rung me from a nearly identical number, only the last digit changes from 7 to 5 (01736 335 735). From what I can tell, this is a genuine number and nothing dodgy.

Today I received a call from a really polite chap who works at a currency exchange place named Tor fx. I’d been thinking about sending money to my account in France, so I asked him some questions. I’m quite pleased I did because he offered me a pretty good deal on the transfer rates.

Got a call from this number earlier, but since it showed up as from Penzance, I didn’t pick up - I’ve got no mates or any dealings out that way. Right after it stopped ringing, I got a voicemail with no caller ID that just showed the word Tesco on my phone screen. I ignored that too as I never shop there. Seems like some sort of scam, hitting me from two angles like that.
