At first, the bloke talked with a really thick Irish accent, but then out of nowhere, it turned into two guys whispering like they were up to something. One of them had this Indian accent. Sounded totally dodgy, like one of those phoney firms trying to scam me!

Yesterday I got two annoying calls that felt like scams so I quickly ended them. I put the first caller on my blocked list but then got another call a bit later from a similar number, so I had to block that one too. It’s frustrating because surely these scammers could be tracked down and stopped? I worry about older folks who aren’t as clued up about phone scams and online safety as I am.

I saw this number pop up on my phone but it didn't actually ring, just made that little bing noise, and then showed a missed call. Really odd how it was silent but still showed up like that.
