I saw the call pop up at 8:15 in the morning, but since it said suspected spam on my phone, I just ignored it. I reckon the caller must be somewhere in a different time zone or something. After checking out what others said about that number, I’ve gone ahead and blocked it and also let my phone company know about it.

Absolutely a scam!!! My mum, who’s quite old, got a call from someone wanting her postcode because apparently a door needed repairing. That door has been "needing fixing" ages ago, so I don't get why they’d ask for those details out of the blue. When my mum asked for his name, he just said it wasn’t important and that the actual person fixing the door would get in touch to sort things out. Thing is, there’s no door needing any repair at all. It’s awful how these people prey on older folks like that. Totally disgraceful.
