When I mentioned that the person they were after wouldn’t be interested, their cheeky retort was something like, “How would you know? Are you a mind reader?” And then they just cut the line. How utterly absurd!

Got a call about saving energy and if I owned the property. I asked when the guy would be coming over, which seemed to throw him off, then he said some supervisor would ring back with the details. I then asked why he was calling if he couldn’t actually set it up, and he got quite snappy, telling me he’d explain everything again and I just had to listen. I told him he needed to listen to me instead, stop faffing about, and just send the bloke to check my energy since they obviously had my address already. Definitely a scam.
