Proper cheeky. They called asking for me but got my name all wrong. Fast to say it wasn’t a sales pitch, then started telling me about some offer. When I mentioned it wasn’t something the person they wanted would want, they snapped back with “How can you be sure? Have you got psychic powers?” and then just ended the call.

Got a call about saving energy and if I owned the property. I asked when the guy would be coming over, which seemed to throw him off, then he said some supervisor would ring back with the details. I then asked why he was calling if he couldn’t actually set it up, and he got quite snappy, telling me he’d explain everything again and I just had to listen. I told him he needed to listen to me instead, stop faffing about, and just send the bloke to check my energy since they obviously had my address already. Definitely a scam.

These calls pop up around once a week, from various numbers, but always the same name. I’m always blocking them as they come through. The person on the line always has a foreign accent too.
