Got a voicemail claiming to be from my “bank”, saying over £1000 had been spent on my card. They told me to press 1 to cancel or 2 to confirm it. I stayed on the line but it just dropped. Tried calling back but the number doesn’t exist. Don’t press anything if you get this - just end the call straight away.

I received a call from a broker with a noticeable foreign accent, unsolicited, mind you, trying to peddle a supposedly better telecommunications deal. I’m not entirely convinced that this number can be trusted. He insisted he was representing "Compare the Networks." Sounds a bit dodgy to me!

Got a call from some cold caller pushing cheap deals, wasn’t interested at all so I just hung up straight away.
