They claimed to be representing Currys, but after a quick chat with the actual Currys team, it became apparent they have no affiliation whatsoever. To top it off, this salesman insisted that BT Openreach was under the ownership of a German firm, even urging me to look it up while he was blabbering on the phone. Naturally, I did my due diligence and found he was mistaken! Then he passed me off to his sales manager, who simply echoed the same misinformation. Honestly, it feels like a right con!
