Got a call from someone claiming to be with Currys, but after checking in with Currys myself, it was clear they have no connection at all. The bloke also told me BT Openreach was owned by a German firm and even told me to have a look it up while he was still there on the line. I did, and it wasn’t true! He then passed me onto his sales manager who just repeated the same nonsense. Total scam, no doubt about it.
